Our Story: From a Kitchen Dream to a Flavor Movement

Kappikada was Co-founded in 2017 by seasoned food entrepreneur Mr. VD Sunil, whose passion for cooking and deep-rooted connection to Kerala cuisine laid the foundation for what would become a beloved brand. Starting with a modest catering business, Mr. Sunil earned a loyal following for his commitment to authentic flavors, generous portions, and consistent quality—a reputation that quickly spread through word of mouth.

In 2018, he partnered with Mr. Varun P Nair of Ayam Group, merging traditional culinary expertise with a modern business vision. Together, they transformed Kappikada from a successful catering venture into a growing restaurant and tea shop chain, without compromising on the essence that made it special.
